Principal Systems / Cyber Security Engineer
Join our highly visible team and perform technically challenging assignments, which will closely contribute to protecting our nation and our products. We are seeking a Principal Systems / Cyber Security Engineer to function as a key contributor for the Integrated Platform Solutions engineering team. As a member of the Integrated Platform Solutions team, we want you to develop solutions to secure the Warfighter's technology advantage. Our team creates security solutions leveraging multiple disciplines and processes like Risk Management Framework (RMF) Assessment and Authorization (A&A), Anti-Tamper (AT), Software Assurance, Hardware Assurance, Cryptography, NSA High Assurance (Type 1) Certification and Supply Chain Risk Management (SCRM) to support Program Protection Implementation across major program(s). Position Location Cedar Rapids, IA What You Will Do
Implement security improvements by assessing current customer requirements and environment; evaluating trends; developing security architecture and requirements, and design architecture artifacts, plans, and policies. Support and develop Risk Management Framework (RMF) assessment documentation and conduct controls validation testing resulting in the Authorization to Operate (ATO) decision. Perform analysis on cybersecurity collected data and test results. Conduct cybersecurity audits to ensure appropriate implementation and continuous compliance of the security posture of the product system. Collaborate with engineering disciplines to minimize cybersecurity threats of deployed designs/products. What You Will Learn

Gain knowledge to become a subject matter expert (SME) in cybersecurity and exposure to variety of businesses and products in ever evolving field. Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience. Active and transferable Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain Top Secret after start. DOD 8570.01-M IASAE Level II or Level III Compliant Certification (e.g., Security+, CISSP, or equivalent). Experience with security features and/or vulnerability analysis of real-time operating systems (RTOS). Proven experience with embedded systems security (real-time embedded systems architecture). Experience in Systems Engineering requirements, specifications, and experience implementing DoD and Federal IA certification, accreditation, and authorization processes, IA controls and developing and maintaining associated documentation and experience with NIST 800-53 RMF, as described in NIST Special Publication 800-37. Experience with security systems engineering involving embedded systems and real-time operating systems (RTOS) various computer hardware and software S/W operating system and application solutions in both a stand-alone and in LAN/WAN configurations. Active and transferable U.S. Government DoD TOP SECRET level clearance. Familiar with NSA High Assurance (Type 1) certification process. Familiar with Program Protection Plan (PPP) DoDI 5000.02 and DoDI 5200.39.
