Cook Opportunity At Saint Luke's Crittenton Children's Center
Saint Luke's Crittenton Children's Center is seeking a cook to be responsible for the active participation in the workflow in the Nutrition Service Department including, but not limited to: preparation, delivery, or service to customers. Your experience and expertise in food services will allow you to successfully serve a diverse population of customers. We provide our employees with the opportunity to grow in the health system, to move into leadership roles within the department or further their careers in new directions still within the health system. Shift details: 24 hours per week, weekends as needed, 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM or 5:45 AM to 2:15 PM. The work includes: set up, food preparation, clean up, and sanitation of work areas, dishes, wares, or equipment. Accountable for inventory control, product rotation, proper labeling, and safe food handling practices. Accountable for operations when the manager and work leaders are not available. We are looking for someone that is excited about working with people and has a positive attitude, strong customer service skills, willingness to work, flexibility, ability to work without any guidance, eager to learn, not afraid to ask questions, can be on your feet all day, and is a team player.
