Quality Inspector
A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring a Quality Inspector. As a Quality Inspector you will: Responsible for the identification and documentation of quality discrepancies related to assembly, process, mechanical, electrical, and electro-mechanical systems. Facilitate the implementation of standards, methods and procedures for inspecting, testing, and evaluating the precision, accuracy and reliability of company products. Lead the preparation and execution of internal audits within established manufacturing and production controls to ensure compliance with internal and external specifications and standards. Liaises with auditing groups and inspectors to develop formal written reports and recommend corrective actions. Identifies trends in discrepancies and collaborates with process owners on the refinement and optimization of business processes. Oversee testing department activities and work of inspectors. Reviews, approves, and controls work order flow tags. Develop inspection techniques, tools, and supplemental inspection instructions in support of standards, methods and procedures. Participate in supplier corrective and preventative actions, including customer escapes, process nonconformities, supplier corrective actions, customer and change control, and material review board meetings. Intermediate professional with practical knowledge of job area. Work under moderate supervision to set objectives for own job area. Communicate with contacts inside and outside own team to explain and interpret operational processes, practices, and procedures Identifies and addresses changes within own job area. Work to achieve operational targets with some impact on departmental results. Ideal candidates will have: Familiarity working in an ESD environment 3-5 years of previous inspection experience Read and understand complex mechanical assembly drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams and engineering sketches. Working understanding of print structures to determine "as built" vs. "as designed" configurations. Use instruments such as verniers, micrometers, and height gages to measure and evaluate parts dimensions. Use computers and microscopes.
