Join us and play an important part on our incredible team!What you get to do:Ensure a safe environment for all ambassadors, guests, and animalsResponsible for the development of OJT's and ambassadors by providing training, feedback and coaching.Ensure compliance to all state/federal regulations, park policies, and department proceduresCreate and maintain unit's team rotation gridMaintain the highest level of cleanliness in the park, conduct quality inspections of assigned areas, and follow up on any opportunities to improveRespond to guest and ambassador needsReport to Supervisors and Managers regarding the status of projectsOversee completion of daily opening and closing proceduresUtilize problem solving skills to ensure positive guest resolutions as neededOversee assigned operating areaEnsure strict adherence to all cash handling proceduresPerform other miscellaneous tasks as requiredWhat it takes to succeed:High school diploma or equivalent preferredLeadership experience preferredPossession or pursuit of a bachelor's degree preferredExcellent computer skills, ability to work multiple selling systems preferredPrevious cash handling experience preferredValid state driver's license and be able to obtain a company driver's licenseAt least 18 years oldAbility to complete provided CPR/AED training/certificationAbility to be trained and certified at all attractionsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsComfortability speaking in front of large groups of guests and ambassadorsAbility to remain calm and professional during challenging situationsWorking knowledge of all Microsoft Office applicationsAbility to stand and walk for long periods of timeAbility to bend and stoop to assist in cleaning the parkAbility to lift 25 pounds and push/pull 50 poundsAbility to able to climb stairsAbility to walk in sandAbility to work comfortably outdoors at heights up to 150 feet (350 ft for Skytower)Ability to assist in ride testing by riding all park ridesAbility to operate in a cash handling environmentThree full days of open availabilityAvailability to work varying shifts or hours based on park hours; i.e. flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, holidays, and until 3:00 a.m. for seasonal eventsThe perks of the position: Ambassadors will enjoy a fun, fast-paced environment, and great teammates, as well as:FREE park admissionDiscounts on park admission tickets and passes for family and friendsPark discounts on food, merchandise, etc.Scholarship opportunitiesExclusive employee events and giveawaysEEO Employer:SEAWORLD PARKS & ENTERTAINMENT IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER.
