Position Summary

The Server is responsible for providing food and beverages to our members. This position includes weekend shifts to ensure we provide excellent service every day of the week. Essential Job Functions

Setting the tables with proper place settings Staying updated on current menu choices, specialties and menu deviations, knowing if the kitchen staff are running out of any item Understanding of established reservation system, direct customers to their tables, presenting menus, suggesting dishes, assisting in drink selection, informing customers about food preparation details, communicating specific customer needs to the cooks Exceed residents expectations and dining experience, delivering items, fulfilling resident's needs, offering desserts and drinks, removing courses, replenishing utensils, refilling glasses Exceeding customer expectations Performing basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by supervisor Filling in for absent staff as needed An understanding of resident diet logs and specific diets; NAS, LCS Assisting with special events and basic food production Job Requirements

Requires ability to relate and be respectful to a wide variety of people and provide superior customer service to all including Residents, co-workers, vendors, family members and visitors. Must wear employee badge at all times while on-the-job. Must report to work on time and adhere to attendance policy. Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality regarding information about Resident, co-workers, vendors, family members and visitors. Must have reliable transportation. Expectations of the Position

Dependable, report to work on-time for every schedule shift (ready to work at beginning - start of shift) and work full schedule shifts unless physically unable or pre-approved Paid Time Off (PTO) which includes personal and vacation. Willing and able to work overtime and weekends as required by the position and/or approved by management. Have reliable transportation to and from work. Must be clean and neat in appearance and have a "friendly," hospitality-oriented, and service-oriented demeanor. Abide by work-related / job procedures and organization policies; (refer to the Employee Handbook). Qualifications of the Position

A combination of experience, education, and/or training which substantially demonstrates the following knowledge and skills Education: High School Diploma or in process of obtaining or GED Experience: One year job experience, preferred Conditions of Employment
