The working hours for this role will be: Monday - Friday from 2am to 11am
This position is responsible for directing and coordinating activities of inventory operations and warehouse operations to obtain optimum use of equipment, facilities, and personnel.
Essential Duties:
Functioning as liaison for all inventory related issues Daily Inventory Accounting and Cost Adjustments Support with hiring and training new staff Performing other duties as assigned to meet business needs Supervises operational procedures for all shipping activities such as verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of materials and keeping warehouse inventory current. Inspects physical condition of warehouse and equipment, maintaining a safe, clean and orderly warehouse. Prepares work orders for repairs and requisitions for equipment replacement. Mentors staff including conducting timely and accurate performance appraisals, training, clear understanding of daily needs and career aspirations, and supporting performance and attendance issues. Completes level scheduling, maintaining even dock capacity flow. Maintaining federal and state legal requirements. Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be flexible and willing to work the demands of the department which are subject to evenings, weekends, and holidays
