AVI Foodsystems is looking for an energetic and optimistic team member to fill the role of Grill Cook, full-time. This position is scheduled Monday through Friday from 5:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. with no evenings, weekends, and holidays. Duties & Responsibilities
Deep fry, grill, and saut meats, fish, vegetables, and other foods Observe and test foods being cooked by tasting, smelling, and piercing Perform food preparation work for cooking, including seasoning Measure and mix ingredients according to recipe Maintain proper grill cooking temperatures Ensure that all kitchen equipment is clean and professional in appearance at all times Manage food inventory Maintain a safe work environment Encourage good customer relations through product promotion Job Requirements: Culinary experience preferred Exceptional food presentation skills Strong work ethic Ability to lift 30 pounds Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills Benefits: A family culture and atmosphere Competitive compensation Health, dental, vision, and life insurance for full-time team members 401(k) with generous company match Paid vacations and holidays Immense training and growth opportunities We conduct pre-employment drug testing.
