REGIONAL FIELD OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR

Position Summary:
The Field Ops Supervisor oversees a group of Laboratory Collection Specialists (LCSs) in a specified geography, and is responsible for the successful onboarding, training, support, and continued education of their assigned team. The Field Ops Supervisor must be available to perform LCS and regular Lead LCS duties as dictated by business needs.
The Field Operations Supervisor reports to the Field Operations Manager (FOM).
Essential Functions: Train new hires in assigned region Travel to client offices to train, support, and cover for direct reports Coordinate staffing coverage of accounts Make recommendations for LCS schedule / hours adjustment based on need Manage and order team supplies through appropriate vendors on a weekly basis Approve payroll for internal (bi-weekly) and agency (weekly) staff Monitor overtime, manage OT approval, and manage schedule changes or coverages as necessary Participate in candidate interviews for open positions and collaborate through the hiring process Coordinate with RBDR's and follow-up regarding frequency reports Manage specimen tracker reports and relay weekly counts or drastic changes to FOM and RBDR's Work with FOM through necessary disciplinary processes of direct reports Contact direct report each week to review progress and any holds, missing information, training requests, or other needs Maintain relationships and regularly visit existing lab clients to proactively handle any service issues and ensure compliance with all Navis SOPs and polices Additional Duties:
All other duties as assigned Education and Experience:
HS diploma or GED, required 1+ year experience working in a medical practice or other healthcare environment, preferred but not required 1+ year experience in a lead or supervisory role requiring training, developing, or managing a team of 5+ people, preferred
Remote management experience preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Reliable transportation and valid driver's license as frequent local and occasional overnight travel will be required Attention to detail Proficiency using a computer and ability to navigate computerized systems Microsoft word, excel and outlook proficient Strong customer service skills Strong time management skills Ability to self-motivate and work both independently and in a team Ethics - Treat people with respect; work with integrity and work ethically; uphold organizational values Communication - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong interpersonal, organizational and customer service skills Physical Requirements:
Light to moderate physical effort (lift/carry up to 25 lbs.) -Heavier weights with assistance Sitting & standing for long periods of time Repetitive motions and/or prolonged computer use Working at a fast pace, subject to many interruptions and both physical and mental stress Contact with biological specimens that requires wearing of protective devices Occasional Overnight Travel May Be Required Must be willing to travel within region with little notice (24 hours or less)

M-F 2p-6p (work from client location)
