Overview Under general supervision, provides business analysis, requirements definition, and software testing support to the corporate user base. Works closely with ITS personnel and business users in the development and implementation of information technology initiatives that support the strategic objectives of the Corporation. Assists the business users by analyzing business needs, developing detailed requirements and validating solutions. Provides an effective liaison between the business departments and other ITS personnel or external vendors providing software services. Major Areas of Accountability Documents information requirements and needs of information technology initiatives. Assists in the evaluation of business objectives that require new systems or enhancements to existing systems. Provides analytical support to business users and other ITS personnel to both determine specific problem areas and identify possible solutions. Confers with Senior Business Analysts, Manager and other ITS personnel and/or users to discuss work processes and plans and/or actions to be performed. Utilizes a structured process for the design, development, testing and deployment of all corporate systems. Works closely with software developers in design and architectural elements to meet user requirements. Develops and documents test procedures and/or test scripts for new systems or changes to existing systems. Identifies and assists in the development of training requirements for the delivery of all system projects to include "train the trainer" requirements and the necessary training materials. Continues professional development through attendance at training sessions and professional seminars to incorporate recent technical developments into work unit operations. Reviews and studies instructional and informational material to enhance/increase knowledgebase of systems and procedures within the work unit. Performs other related duties of a comparable level/type as required. Personality/Working Style

Education Required
A Baccalaureate degree or CPCU preferred CBAP (Certified Business Analyst Professional) designation preferred
Experience Required
Experience in the utilization of Agile Methodology preferred 5 years of workers comp experience in a core area (PHS; Claims; Finance) preferred A minimum of 2 years experience in reviewing and understanding technical writing as relates to business requirements, system documentation, training documentation, procedures, etc. Prior participation on formalized project teams at LWCC preferred
