Regional Nurse Manager (Senior Living)Connecticut and New JerseySenior Living Residences (SLR) is hiring a Regional Nurse Manager (RN required) with previous Assisted Living experience to provide onsite support, mentorship and training to our assisted living and memory support communities primarily located in both Connecticut and New Jersey. This individual should be a passionate, experienced, clinical leader, eager to support multiple assisted living communities with their wellness departments, offer regulatory insight and have a sincere desire to mentor teams in a mission-driven environment. WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?The Regional Nurse Manager will serve as a clinical cornerstone across a number of communities in providing support in the delivery of care services, staff development and regulatory compliance. This individual will work closely with community managers and partner with corporate-level operations, HR and compliance leadership teams to ensure communities deliver exceptional, person-centered care in alignment with state regulations and organizational standards. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES: Regular travel within the region, providing responsive, hands-on support to communities Assist with covering nursing position shifts for roles which are temporarily vacant and/or where the Resident Care Director or Wellness Nurse is temporarily out of the community; Provide onsite training for community wellness teams, department heads, managers and community associates as needed; Leading and supporting community nursing departments in daily operations, compliance and quality assurance programs. WE'D LOVE TO CHAT IF YOU HAVE: Registered Nurse with an active licenses in Connecticut and New Jersey At least two (2) years experience with the elderly in health care, elderly services or assisted living; experience with residents with Alzheimer's disease and other types of dementia Strong leadership skills with the ability to work effectively with others in a team environment and promote a culture of teamwork, customer service, and an atmosphere conducive to growth for all associates Proven ability to work independently, take initiative, solve problems, and provide leadership in promoting and implementing process changes and improvements Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Persistent follow-through skills. Proven ability to take initiative and solve problems.
