LVN/LPN Position At Southeast Behavioral Hospital
Southeast Behavioral Hospital is excited to offer a full continuum of inpatient and outpatient services to the people of Southeast Missouri. Our facility provides a wide range of mental, emotional, and behavioral health services for children, teens, adults, and seniors experiencing mental health issues, such as depression, anxiety, and co-occurring substance use issues. Located on the banks of the Mississippi River, the Cape Girardeau region has long been an area of vibrant commerce and abundance, with significant roots in agriculture and trading posts which produced generations of people full of pride and a determination to put in a hard day's work. The LVN/LPN performs under the direction of a registered nurse in providing nursing care to assigned patients, utilizing basic understanding of psychiatric and personality disorders. Qualifications
Education: Graduate from an accredited professional vocational school of nursing. Experience: Minimum one (1) year as a LPN/LVN/LPT in psychiatric nursing preferred, with six (6) months experience in behavioral health. Licensure: Licensed to practice vocational/practical nursing from the State Board of Nursing. Additional Requirements: CPR certification and successful completion of HWC including restraint and seclusion policies, within 30 days of employment and prior to assisting with restraining procedures.
