Inventory Controller - MRO

As a result of our continuing expansion and growth, we are looking for a motivated MRO Inventory Controller to join our team. Duties and Responsibilities: Establishing and maintaining supplier relationships Building physical inventory for spare parts in support of industrial maintenance repair operations in multiple locations in the Milwaukee area Building inventory control utilizing modern user friendly CMMS Working closely with our maintenance and purchasing teams to order parts for both stock and machine down conditions Researching current and potential new vendors Monitoring critical path items and make necessary adjustments Ensuring stock data/Hands on inventory control (will be floor time in this role). Qualifications: Strong negotiation, decision making and organizational skills Strong attention to detail Working knowledge of Purchasing related duties and responsibilities Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and Outlook Familiarity with Maintenance/Repair/Operations in an industrial setting Preferred Experience: Six Sigma Black Belt Certification preferred Experience with ERP systems, preferably Epicor preferred Purchasing experience in a manufacturing organization Familiarity with MaintainX CMMS
