Design, develop, test, deliver, and maintain software for cutting-edge satellite ground systems. Work with talented teams of engineers, architects, and leaders in an Agile environment. What You Will Learn
A breadth of advanced software technologies and techniques including multi-tiered architectures, AWS web services, and microservice software design. Modern DevSecOps and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery techniques. Software lifecycle practices for large-scale defense projects. Satellite ground system technologies including command & telemetry, flight dynamics, planning and scheduling, and spacecraft operations. Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 8 years of relevant software engineering experience. Experience developing object-oriented software using Java and C++. Experience developing software in a Linux environment. Experience with Atlassian tools such as Confluence, Jira, and Bitbucket. Experience with some area of satellite ground system software such as mission management, vehicle planning and scheduling, command and telemetry, satellite operations, or flight dynamics. Experience leading software teams. Software development lifecycle experience using the SAFe Agile methodology. Experience developing software using Python. Experience with software integration, cloud architecture, infrastructure/platform as a service, microservices, containerization, and web-based systems. Experience with AMMP, Cucumber, GIT, Khaos (M2C2 FD), Kubernetes, Oracle, Postgres, SonarQube, Weblogic, WIGS/Angular. Experience with cybersecurity, DevSecOps, and CI/CD processes.
