Payload Integration Systems Engineer III

SEACORP is seeking a well-qualified Payload Integration Systems Engineer III. Primary duties and responsibilities include: evaluation and integration of undersea dominance payloads into the AN/BYG-1 CCS for Virginia Class Submarines, managing the development cycle associated with producing a resilient software, hardware, and web application, evaluation of currently deployed weapon/payload system condition of readiness, and providing technical recommendations to sponsors for platform integration. Lead focused technical teams responsible for determining the best course of action to resolve issues, including review and development of technical reports, identifying documentation deficiencies, providing recommendations, participate in technical working groups, collection and analysis of test data to develop user experience (UX) design features. Future payload platform technical feasibility studies as the preliminary step to support the identification and generation of requirements in the following system areas: technology insertion, hardware selection, incremental requirements phasing for performance improvement, design changes to existing or future platform systems, space weight and cooling impacts. This position may include travel to industry partner and customer locations for support. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline. Experience: 7 years of experience. Ideal skills and experience include a strong understanding of the submarine AN/BYG-1 Combat Control System (CCS), associated integrated strike warfare systems, and launch control systems.
