General Purpose:

The Solutions Architect II is a client-facing position, responsible for providing support of TPx's portfolio of Networking, Cybersecurity, Collaboration, and Connectivity products and services. Provides product expertise to assist sales with designing custom solutions; resolves technical issues identified in the pre-sales process; responds to customer inquiries; and otherwise assists in closing prospective business opportunities. Acts as a subject matter expert, providing sales support - including customer meetings, customer presentations, and defining process.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Assists with TPx sales opportunities by taking full ownership of the technical aspects of the proposed solution. Understands customers' overall infrastructure, IT and business priorities, and success measures to design implementation architectures and management solutions (Microsoft and third-party solutions). Leverages individual expertise, and internal subject-matter experts where necessary, to architect technical solution(s) based on customer business needs and requirements. Utilizes thorough, discovery-based methodology to uncover customer pain points and identify TPx solutions to address those points. Conducts sales presentations demonstrating TPx's professional solutions to meet customers' specific managed information technology needs. Meets with customer contacts (both managerial and technical) to position TPx solutions appropriately and drive sales to completion. Applies technical knowledge and customer insights to create a modernization roadmap and architect solutions to meet business and technical needs. Ensures technical viability of new projects and successful deployments, (e.g., Security, Storage, M365, Endpoint Management, and Networking). Completes necessary documentation to support the sales process. Attends Sales meetings on a regular basis. Provides additional training for all sales channels on all TPx solutions and services, including how to identify and qualify opportunities. Mentors junior team members on technical and non-technical topics. Other Responsibilities:

Assists TPx departments on inquiries regarding new and current technical deployments and reconfigurations. Completes Statements of Work, design documents and other technical documentation as required. Promotes and educates other TPx departments on technology regarding industry standards, new technology, and TPx. Provides information and feedback to Product Management regarding product positioning within the marketplace, customer acceptance, frequent issues, etc. Assists with projects regarding customer accounts and internal systems. Up to 30% travel by personal vehicle for customer prospecting and appointments. Up to 10% air travel outside of region requiring overnight stay. Required Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, marketing, or electrical engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience. 5 - 10 years' experience supporting direct and/or channel sales. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Knowledge on TCP/IP, SD-WAN, LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, Ethernet, SIP, CoS, QoS, UCaaS, Cybersecurity best practices, Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Server OS's and Backup and Disaster Recovery solutions. Documentation and project management skills for both internal and customer facing purposes. Strong interpersonal skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent presentation skills. Must possess a valid driver's license and a satisfactory motor vehicle record (MVR). Other Qualifications:

3 - 5 years' experience in network design preferred, to include SD-WAN technologies Cisco Certified Design Associate (CCDA), Cradlepoint (CPCNA), Meraki (CMNA), Fortinet Certified Professional, Microsoft Certified Fundamentals or MCSA certification, Datto Certified Practitioner and/or other telecommunications/IT certifications preferred.
