Solutions Architect - High Performance SoftwareWe are looking for a Solutions Architect - High Performance Software to join our Defense Solutions Division.As our Solutions Architect - High Performance Software you will provide internal and external technical leadership in defining, architecting, and driving implementation of high-performance software solutions to support demanding computing applications at the tactical edge. You will architect scalable and adaptable software solutions to provide the optimum level of high-performance software capabilities within the constraints of the available hardware solutions (ranging from 5 Watts to 5000 Watts). You will provide technical leadership for new business capture activities in coordination with our Business Development / Sales teams and key product line leaders. Application areas include autonomy, AI/ML enhancements, sensor processing, and complex command & control applications. Expected to drive partnerships and internal initiatives (including training / mentoring) to provide and grow division capabilities. - 50%

Develop relationships with key customers to understand problems and required solutions for high performance software, advanced analytics, and AI / ML -20%

Coordinate with Business Development / Sales / Marketing to communicate and evangelize solutions, including providing technical leadership on business capture activities - 20%

Coordinate with key division leaders, technology leaders, and product leaders to communicate and report on solutions, required technologies, required products, and key partners. -10%

What You Bring: Bachelor's Degree- Software Engineering, Computer Science

12 plus years of related experience

Able to work in ad-hoc teams across division to lead specific technical pursuits. Must be able to provide leadership and vision to define future team growth.

Strong strategic mindset and collaboration skills

Business and technical mindset

Experience in aligning customer needs and company strategy

Strong knowledge and experience in network optimization (RDMA), cluster / cloud management and middleware, heterogeneous computing environments, virtualization, AI/ML frameworks, and operating systems (Linux, including distribution configuration and optimization). Experience in scaling performance from modest hardware (e.g. RPi) to data centers a plus. Experience in High Performance Computing (HPC) a plus.
