Fulfills beverage order requests at the bar, at a service bar, or other areas as assigned. Garnish all drinks correctly. Card any customer who looks 30 years or younger. Follows Company procedure with respect to Responsible Gaming/Alcohol Service. Prepares drinks and dispenses liquor in accordance with established recipes and procedures to minimize waste and control costs. See attached guidelines. Cleans and maintains the bar area on a continual basis throughout the assigned shift. Complete all set-up and break-down work. Completes stocking duties and side work as assigned. Maintains up to date knowledge of bar service trends and of mixology. Report prevailing trends, both internal and external, to Beverage Manager. Full knowledge of glassware, prices, exotic cocktails. Operates and cleans ice machine, pouring gun, and other beverage equipment as part of regular job duties. No more than two (2) butts in an ashtray before it is changed. Works collegially with supervisors, cocktail servers, bar porters, and other bartenders to prepare and serve drinks quickly and courteously. Understands, complies with, and enforces all alcohol awareness procedures and relevant laws. Performs cashiering duties, and utilizes established cash/comp procedures. Responsible for bank. Adheres to established P.O.S procedures and pricing structure for every drink order. Follows established company and departmental appearance standards, including uniform, hygiene, and general appearance guidelines, at all times. Handles customer complaints, and, if necessary, solicits involvement and support from supervisor. Performs tasks in accordance with all relevant sanitation and safety laws and regulations. Develop and maintain an up to date knowledge of all Company events and promotions and be able to answer guests questions accordingly Performs all other duties as assigned.
