Summary:
Are you a skilled technician with a passion for security systems and hands-on problem-solving? Join our team as an
Electronic Technician
and play a vital role in maintaining and repairing advanced security equipment across critical facilities. This part-time position offers a flexible schedule and eligibility for company benefits. Requires 100% travel throughout the larger metro area and travel to neighboring states (up to 20%).
Roles And Responsibilities
Perform maintenance and repairs on electronic security systems (ESS) Troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues Interpret technical diagrams and schematics Replace or repair faulty components and wiring Configure computers, communication devices, and peripherals Provide technical support to fellow technicians during system restoration
Basic Qualifications
Associate degree in a technical field or in lieu of the degree 12+ years of relevant experience Minimum 8 years of hands-on experience with ESS, including: Video surveillance systems Access control systems Intercoms Intrusion detection systems Security gates Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and proper PPE usage Must be able to pass a moderate suitability (customer) background check Ability to travel frequently within the metro area and occasionally to neighboring states
Preferred Experience
Experience with any of the following systems is highly desirable:

Compensation:
This is a Service Contract Act (SCA) position.
