Store Picker Opportunity
A food production company in San Clemente is expected to have an opening for a Store Picker in the near future. This individual is responsible for receiving produce and raw foods, assembling, shipping, labeling, and/or packaging foods to customers using manual assembly and equipment. This individual must be able to work in all temperature-controlled, cold environments (38 degrees). This is a temp to hire position with a pay of $18.50/hr. The shift is Tues-Fri 5PM-1AM and Saturdays 3PM-10:30PM plus overtime. If you are interested, you are encouraged to apply for this position and we will contact you when the job is available. Once hired by the company, they offer a comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees. Responsibilities: Selects and packages products for shipment based on customer orders. Wrap pallets and operate pallet jack. Uses technology, including handheld devices, to sort, scan, and prepare orders May be training to do a bigger job, work in a variety of areas, conveyor/assembly lines, receiving, shipping, inventory, and other processes independently. Package kits and rotate and check food ingredients for freshness. Prepares and understands a variety of routine paperwork associated with food preparation, packaging, labeling, and controls. Requirements: At least 6 months experience working in a food manufacturing environment is preferred. General high school degree/GED or equivalent preferred Knowledge of basic math and reading comprehension skills Must be able to use a scan gun and able to count and understand quantities. Must be able to lift at least 20lbs.
