SS&C Eze is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to join the Eze OMS team based out of our Boston headquarters. Eze's award-winning Investment Suite features a set of integrated applications that provide best-in-class asset management functionality to streamline the investment lifecycle. Our applications can be combined together for a seamless front-to-back workflow, used standalone, or integrated with other third-party systems. As a software engineer on the OMS, you will work on a team consisting of a product manager, QA, scrum master, and other software engineers. What You Will Get To Do: Provide technical leadership and mentor/coach other engineers. Develop high-quality code on schedule, based on a technical design. Design and implement underlying data and domain models for applications and services to be scalable and maintainable. Identify improvements and participate in innovating our tools and services. Provide operational support for critical production issues. Master the domain knowledge and be the expert in the areas the team owns. What You Will Bring: 8+ years of experience in programming and software development Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field Proficiency in Microsoft .NET coding languages (C# experience preferred) Deep understanding of OOD/P and its application Experience with API Architecting and Development Experience with public or private cloud development Proficient in SQL (SQL Server experience preferred) Experience providing technical leadership, design advice, and mentoring other engineers Fluency in various design patterns. How to use them, why to use them, and when to use them.
