Java Developer Opportunity
Insight Global is looking for a Java Developer for a large OEM in Dearborn, MI. This group is part of the commercial side of business and works to support a range of customers who need vehicles to support their business endeavors. The primary responsibilities include: 60% of the work is maintenance, troubleshooting issues, upgrading frameworks, defining, designing, developing, and deploying services and applications in a micro service/cloud-based architecture. Migrating technologies/services (PCF to GCP), upgrading services, coding new services, standing up new APIs/Microservices, unit testing (team uses JUnit), troubleshooting issues, ensuring functional and non-functional quality and on-time delivery using agile principles. Paired development as needed, test driven development, and continuous delivery to release early and often. Collaborate and work closely together with a balanced team of developers. Bi-weekly sprint planning. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
