This position plays a crucial role in verifying the functionality, performance, and stability of our MS Windows, mobile and cloud-based solutions, through a combination of automated and manual testing techniques. The QA Automation Engineer collaborates with software engineers to develop software solutions that facilitate organizational goals. About you: Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience in testing and supporting IT platforms. Solid understanding of fundamental programming concepts and software development principles. Ability to develop simple software solutions using a programming language such as VB.NET or C#. 3+ years of experience using Transact SQL (TSQL). Experience testing web-based and mobile applications. Hands-on experience developing automated test scripts using Selenium. Experience performing various types of manual testing (functional, integration, regression, exploratory). Familiarity with Azure DevOps for test management and defect tracking. Knowledge of data modelling (database concepts) and data visualization tools (like Visio). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Advanced communication skills, both written and oral. Be available for after-hours work for issue resolution and system upgrades as necessary. Be someone that is excited about improving processes and helping drive efficiency and excellence. Ability to manage numerous tasks simultaneously with regular interruptions while maintaining a strong attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize and maintain a high standard of professional courtesy, flexibility, confidentiality and discretion while working collaboratively in an office environment, independently and as a team member.
