Cloud Platform Engineer
The ideal candidate should have experience working in securely governed multi-account cloud environments and will follow Verisk best practices for security and data governance. Additionally, the individual will take end-to-end ownership of team projects which may coordinate with business-facing teams. The Cloud Platform Engineer position requires in-depth knowledge of primarily AWS cloud infrastructure at the Solutions Architect level of proficiency. The successful candidate will be able to rapidly apply their AWS infrastructure knowledge to real-world business problems constrained by specific security policies, and creatively define and implement new solutions that advance Verisk data analytic capabilities. This role requires significant experience in cloud computing environments, hands on technical skills, a passion and appetite to master new technologies, and excellent communication skills. The Cloud Platform Engineer must enjoy interacting with diverse and globally distributed technical teams and maintain a mindset focused on helping others succeed in the cloud computing projects.
