Our Badge platform powers ID card management and campus access in a fully integrated ecosystem built for simplicity, scale, and security. Backed by a proven legacy in ID technology and a service-first approach, we help schools modernize how students, staff, and systems connect. CI Solutions is seeking a Product Manager to take ownership of our end-to-end connected experience including the Badge web platform, connected reader infrastructure (CICR), and the MyBadge mobile app, which is currently in development. This is a pivotal and high-impact role for a strategic, execution-driven leader who wants to shape how identity and access work across K-12 campuses. You'll guide development through launch and beyond not just shipping features but defining the experience for students, staff, and administrators. A deep understanding of CI Solutions' unique role in the market as a trusted partner to schools blending software, hardware, and service will help you influence roadmap priorities and inspire innovation. Your ability to connect the dots across user needs, technical realities, and market trends will set you apart. Key Responsibilities
Lead the Connected Product Vision: Define and own the strategy for a seamless identity experience across the Badge platform, readers, and mobile. Drive MyBadge Mobile App to Market: Partner with design and engineering to launch and evolve our mobile app. Balance secure credentialing with intuitive UX and mobile-first adoption. Build & Execute the Product Roadmap: Maintain a clear, customer-aligned roadmap across the web platform, hardware integrations, and mobile ecosystem. Understand the K-12 Landscape: Engage with customers and internal teams to uncover pain points unique to education. Use this insight to influence product decisions and shape differentiated solutions. Bridge Hardware and Software: Lead initiatives that integrate secure card readers, cloud systems, and mobile devices into a connected experience. Ensure User-Centered Design: Champion a cohesive experience across physical and digital touchpoints, from card issuance to mobile access. Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with engineering, operations, implementation, and support to deliver product releases that are operationally sound and customer-ready. Requirements
Organized communicator who excels at translating problems into clear, actionable requirements 3-5+ years of product management experience in SaaS, identity, or platform-based environments Experience launching and scaling mobile applications in production Familiarity with connected hardware or physical access systems (e.g., RFID readers, secure credentials) Strong ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders alike Passion for solving meaningful problems in complex environments particularly in education or public institutions Bonus Points For
Experience in the K-12 EdTech or campus security industry Knowledge of card issuance systems, mobile credentials, or secure element (SE) technologies Hands-on experience with tools like Jira, Figma, Salesforce Comfort navigating compliance, procurement, or IT security expectations in schools Why This Role Matters
