As a NYS-certified Article 31 mental health clinic, we offer outpatient mental health treatment, crisis services, HIV mental health programs, vocational rehabilitation, supportive employment, case management, health insurance navigation, and senior services. We aim to foster independence, dignity, and well-being across all the populations we serve.Position Summary:We are seeking a Clinical Supervisor with a strong background in substance use treatment to join our dynamic and mission-driven Behavioral Health team. This role combines leadership, clinical expertise, and direct service. The ideal candidate will supervise a team of licensed clinicians (LMSWs and/or LMHCs), support interns, and carry a small caseload. The supervisor must be adept in evidence-based practices, experienced in working with co-occurring disorders, and passionate about improving the lives of underserved individuals.This is a hybrid role requiring both in-office presence and remote work. Flexibility, team collaboration, and a strong commitment to service are essential.QualificationsLCSW requiredMinimum 5 years of post-master's clinical experience, with a strong emphasis on substance use treatmentCASAC credential or documented experience in addiction counseling preferredBilingual (English/Spanish or Chinese) a strong plusProficiency in Electronic Health Records (EHRs) preferredExperience with evidence-based treatment models (e.g., CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing)Familiarity with community-based mental health and/or outpatient clinic environmentsDemonstrated leadership and team-building skillsStrong organizational, communication, and documentation abilitiesKey ResponsibilitiesProvide clinical supervision to at least 2 licensed behavioral health clinicians and supervise MSW/MHC interns as neededCarry a small caseload, applying clinical expertise in substance use and co-occurring mental health disordersUse CASAC credential or equivalent substance use treatment experience to inform practice and supervisionEnsure adherence to regulatory documentation standards and agency policies, including collaborative documentation and treatment planningProvide individual, group, and family therapy services as neededCollaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate client-centered careSupport staff in achieving clinical productivity goals and ensure quality assurance standards are metParticipate in staff meetings, case conferences, and trainingsWork at least one late shift per week (1:00pm-8:00pm)Perform other related duties as assigned by the Clinical DirectorEssential Physical RequirementsAbility to walk on sidewalks, navigate stairs, and move throughout the clinic for extended periodsAbility to carry up to 20 lbs.
