Role Overview

The System Administrator plays a key role in maintaining and supporting our hybrid IT infrastructure, ensuring the overall stability, security, and performance of our systems. Based on-site in Franklin, TN, this role involves hands-on work across a variety of technologies, including Microsoft 365, Azure cloud services, on-premises server environments, and network equipment. This individual partners closely with the Director of Technology Operations and serves as a go-to resource for both strategic projects and day-to-day IT support. The System Administrator is expected to take a proactive approach to system management, addressing issues before they impact operations and continuously identifying opportunities for improvement. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic, evolving environment and who brings both deep technical knowledge and a collaborative mindset to the team. Key Responsibilities

Administer and support Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Intune, etc.) Manage Azure Active Directory, virtual machines, security groups, and resource deployments Implement and maintain policies for compliance, identity, and access management in Azure Manage and maintain Windows Server infrastructure, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and file/print services Perform system backups, patch management, and disaster recovery planning Troubleshoot hardware and software issues in physical and virtual environments (VMware/Hyper-V) Configure and maintain network switches, routers, firewalls, and VPNs Monitor network performance and security, and resolve connectivity issues Collaborate with vendors and service providers to maintain optimal network functionality Apply security best practices across all systems and networks Monitor systems for vulnerabilities and implement remediation steps Support compliance with industry regulations and internal policies Provide Tier 2/3 support for escalated IT issues Create and maintain documentation for systems, procedures, and configurations Qualifications and Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience) 5+ years of experience in a system/network administrator role Proven experience with Microsoft 365 and Azure administration Strong knowledge of Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022) Hands-on experience with networking hardware (Cisco, Ubiquiti, Fortinet, etc.) Relevant certifications a plus (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, CompTIA Network+, CCNA) Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with emerging technologies Perks and Benefits

Salary: $90k-100k annually, to commensurate with experience.
