We have a 1st Shift Shipping and Recieving Clerk in Brooklyn Center, MN.
Summary:
Keep our products moving efficiently! As a Shipping and Receiving Specialist, you'll play a vital role in managing all inbound and outbound freight. From receiving and distribution to shipping and inventory control, your organizational skills and attention to detail will ensure smooth operations.
Responsibilities: Perform proper receiving functions and distribute accordingly via computer system. Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against packing slips, and ensure proper distribution within the warehouse using our computer system (BPCS). Pack, label, and ship outbound freight according to customer orders and ensure timely deliveries. Perform proper shipping functions for all outbound freight. Properly identify finished product for inventory or customer. Communicate with Sales Team regarding delayed shipments. Follow all Standard Work instructions and operate forklifts. Report to department supervisor and initiate action to prevent occurrence of any non-conformities relating to product, process and quality system. Maintain work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations. Perform other related operations required or directed. May work at different work stations as production needs require. Qualifications:
Knowledge of inventory control and Manufacturing operations Forklift operator license a plus. Computer literacy with word processing, spreadsheets, and databases Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with team, shop floor supervisors, and upper leadership Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
Work Environment/Physical demand:
This is a fast-paced and hands-on Warehouse in a manufacturing setting. This job requires employees to stand for 8-10 hours. The environment on the shop floor is usually loud, hot and humid in the summer months and involves standing on cement floors with exposure to chemicals and metal particles. PPE always required on manufacturing floor.

1st Shift: 5am-3:30PM Monday -Thursday. This Job may require daily overtime or friday hours as needed.
