Prepares orders by processing requests for material orders; pulling materials; loading and unloading material onto trucks using a forklift. Load and unload delivery trucks. Enter quantity received against the purchase order in the computer system and print back order and inventory stock put away list. Attach identifying tag or labels to materials and/or marks information on cases, bales, or other containers. Assemble and fill orders to be shipped to customers. Prepare shipping documentation. Review all orders to determine if items were picked correctly. Safely operate all the necessary equipment in work area. Accurately identify and count stock materials as listed on the cycle count list. Stages orders in pipe yard. Perform other general warehouse duties as necessary. Experience :
1+ years of warehouse and distribution experience including use of commercial or industrial equipment. Experience with handheld computer equipment such as RF scanners. Must be able to follow directions and work independently. Able to work well and coordinate with others. Ability to read, write and exhibit strong basic math skills. Core Competencies :
Excellent attention to detail. Time management skills and ability to prioritize. Ability to work in a deadline drive, fast paced environment. Able to withstand temperatures in a typical warehouse environment. Position spends 100% of time standing, walking, lifting, pulling, and pushing. Able to move/lift to 75 lbs. unassisted. Able to push/pull up to 100 lbs. unassisted. Ability to operate material moving equipment such as a forklift, riding pallet jack, manual pallet jack, and picking carts. Education :
High School Diploma or GED
