About This Job:
Performs a variety of tasks involving checking, preparing, distributing materials, equipment and supplies received and distributed from District warehouse, and keeping accurate inventory in inventory database.

Receives and records incoming deliveries to the DPS warehouse or other storage facilities. Stores, moves and transports items to assigned warehouse location operating forklift or pallet jacks. Reconciles incoming and outgoing goods and stock against shipping manifest or purchase orders (correctness of item, quantity, condition, requirements, specifications), and notes shortages, errors, or unacceptability of items on purchase orders and notifies purchasing department. Delivers requested goods to and from district locations in warehouse, departments, schools or other locations. Wraps and packs items properly for issue and/or delivery schedule. Performs maintenance and service on forklifts and other warehouse equipment. Plans and prepares for changes or expansion of warehouse operations. Obtains written authorizations prior to completing any request for materials, supplies or equipment. Delivers materials to shipping area for final packing and delivery, and forwards completed material requisitions daily to warehouse office. Cleans and organizes assigned area. Keeps warehouse inventory, data, research and analysis confidential. Performs other related duties, including special projects, as required or requested. What You Need:
High School/GED required. Two or more years of related experience handling the receipt and distribution of materials, equipment and supplies in a warehouse or parts-room environment, preferably in a large urban K-12 public school environment. Experience with warehouse inventory parts control and work order software. Experience performing basic inventory control of materials, equipment and supply. Formal training and/or experience in computer based inventory management system. Valid Colorado Driver's License (CDL preferred) Lead for racial and educational excellence and work to dismantle systems of oppression and inequity in our community, along with believing in and supporting all students so they feel seen and heard with access to high quality education. Live and work with a permanent home address in Colorado while working with us. Have the ability with or without accommodations to meet the
physical demands
