At our Madisonville site, the Maintenance Department plays a critical role in supporting uptime and reliability across growing, utilities, and packaging operations. We are seeking a dedicated and organized Maintenance Parts Room Coordinator to help drive performance through efficient inventory and support operations.
What do we expect?
The Maintenance Parts Room Coordinator is responsible for managing daily inventory operations, issuing parts and maintenance kits, overseeing rebuild tagging workflows, and maintaining accurate records within our JD Edwards (JDE) system. This position acts as a critical link between the maintenance, planning, and purchasing teams to ensure part availability, budget visibility, and efficient equipment support.
What are we looking for? •Maintain organized and compliant inventory spaces using 5S practices and daily housekeeping. •Receive, inspect, label, and barcode incoming parts shipments; verify against purchase orders. •Manage inventory transactions and stock location data within JD Edwards (JDE). •Build and distribute daily and project-based maintenance kits; ensure parts are issued per work order requirements. •Coordinate emergency part requests and escalation routing through Maintenance Manager and Purchasing. •Oversee tool room inventory and check-in/check-out logs; report missing tools to appropriate leadership. •Manage tagging of removed parts for evaluation and rebuild; document and track their lifecycle in JDE. •Conduct weekly usage and spend reporting; support inventory replenishment decisions and supplier follow-up. •Assist with monthly inventory audits, KPI reporting, and budget variance analysis.
Qualifications •Minimum 2 years of experience in inventory, parts room, warehouse, or maintenance support role. •Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and communication skills. •Comfortable working around industrial environments with physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. •Proficiency in data entry and software tools such as Excel; prior experience with JD Edwards or other CMMS preferred.
