POSITION SUMMARYLocated at our Byron Center, MI location, the person in this position would install glass and door bottoms, package doors, and complete other value-add processes to doors being cut by the CNC. These associates are responsible for the timeliness, accuracy, and completion of these daily operations. Day-to-day responsibilities include:Ensuring the proper quality, accuracy and timeliness of the prepping of all jambs for specials, line, and finishProperly staging all jambs for productionMaintaining the organization, maintenance and cleanliness of the door area, assigned by the Prep SupervisorEnsuring that all production areas are properly supplied for the day's workPerforming other tasks as assigned by the Prep SupervisorAt Lumbermen's, our business is built on relationships. It's crucial that the person selected to fill this role is a safety-minded team player who gets energy from contributing to collaborative success. This position offers a $300 annual clothing allowance to offset costs for work apparel, protective footwear, and PPE.
