The Raytheon team is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to support the AN/TPY-2 missile defense program and the Missile Defense Sensors (MDS) Software (SW) Department. The MDS SW mission is to provide world class Radar and Command and Control (C2) Software for our customers' wide array of Surveillance and Warning Systems. We align to the core Agile and DevSecOps principles of collaborative operation across the entire value stream, delivering high-frequency, high-quality deployments to our customers. We strive for technical excellence by drawing upon a workforce whose knowledge base covers the complete spectrum of modern computing languages and platforms. What You Will Do:

Design, develop, and test software based on software trouble reports in an agile, collaborative environment, delivering build to site twice a year. Participate in agile execution and continuous improvement. Work collaboratively with systems and SI&T engineers to analyze, implement, and test system modification requests to the existing system baseline. Potential to travel to CONUS or OCONUS customer sites (up to 50%, 1-2 weeks per trip) for software build installation and support. Qualifications You Must Have:

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations. Experience with software development, test, and/or integration using C, C++ or Ada Experience with Script languages (C shell, Perl) Experience using debugging tools to quickly identify and fix software bugs, as well as optimize code for performance Ability to obtain Interim Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. Preferred Qualifications:

Experience on XBR, AN/TPY-2, COBRA DANE, QEWR, UEWR, SRP or other current missile defense programs Experience working in Agile environments such as scrum, scrum at scale, SAFe and DevSecOps Experience contributing to a team environment for the purpose of developing creative solutions to difficult technical problems Experience with tools such as Atlassian Suite (e.g., Bitbucket/Artifactory, Confluence, Crucible, Fisheye, Jira), Jenkins, Eclipse, and Ansible Experience working in a continuous integration/continuous development environment; experience with CI/CD pipelines.
