Placon
The Packaging Technician I is responsible for the inspection and packaging of plastic parts to specification. Additional responsibilities include, operating finishing and support equipment in accordance with process control plan and work instructions.
Essential Accountabilities
Production
Inspect and pack product to quality specifications and standards.
Apply bag labels to identify product.
Verify material for disposal and regrind.
Conduct Oracle transactions as needed
Fills in for Packaging Technician II as requested by supervision.
Quality
Identify and communicate quality deviations or nonconforming product.
Read product drawings and perform product measurements.
Follow Good Manufacturing Practices
Safety
Participate in safety programs
Follow all established safety procedures
Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment
Perform general housekeeping duties to keep work area clean at all times.
Minimum Qualifications
Ability to read, write and speak English at a defined proficiency level to meet training, safety and quality requirements. Desired Skills;
Manufacturing experience preferred
