Dries objectsExamines cleaned objects to ensure conformance to standardsResponsible for the proper storage of hazardous wastes within the process line department and collection of hazardous wastes from other departments, including transportation to the hazardous waste storage shedResponsible for the proper handling and management of hazardous waste generated in their work areaAccurately records required information in customer required log booksOther duties as assignedQualifications & RequirementsAbility to read and interpret blueprints and mylarsAbility to operate a forklift and overhead craneMust be able to comply with specific safety policiesRead and understand internal procedures and policiesUnderstand and follow through on both verbal, written instructions and communicate effectivelyTeam oriented with a continuous improvement outlookBasic Computer Skills - able to learn new screens, reports, functions and simple software programs with assistanceRequired Experience and EducationHigh School Diploma; up to 3 years related experience in job function and/or training; equivalent combination of education and experience Math Skills - decimals, percentages, fractions, ratios, proportions; geometry and trigonometry is a plusBasic Computer Skills - able to learn new screens, reports, functions and simple software programs with assistanceManagement reserves the right to add, modify, change or rescind the work assignments in accordance with business needs, and to make reasonable accommodations so that qualified employees can perform the essential function of the job.This is a generic job posting for a Process Line Operator.
