Electro-Mechanical Technician 12 Hour Nights

Electro-Mechanical Technician Responsibilities:
- Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs on engines, motors, pneumatic tools, gearboxes, couplings, conveyor systems, and production machines - Identify and resolve mechanical issues by observing operations, using precision measuring tools, and following diagrams, sketches, and engineering specifications - Remove, repair and replace defective parts using hoists, cranes, hand tools and power tools - Perform equipment setup, adjustments, minor repairs and tooling replacements to ensure proper functionality - Control downtime by informing production workers of preventive maintenance techniques and ensuring compliance - Maintain documentation of maintenance activities, including reports on issues, solutions and preventive actions - Work closely with production employees, Leads, Process Managers and Engineers to maximize machine uptime and improve processes - Monitor and maintain inventory levels of tools, spare parts and materials needed for maintenance and production - Perform required preventive maintenance (PM) tasks and support continuous improvement initiatives - Follow safety guidelines, company policies, and workplace organization standards Requirements for Electro-Mechanical Technician:
- High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of 3-5 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment - Completion of Industrial Maintenance Program is a plus - Proficient in using measuring devices, rules, scales, gauges and fixtures - Knowledge of PLC troubleshooting and Microsoft Office is a plus - Power truck and welding experience is a plus - Strong problem-solving skills, ability to multi-task under deadlines and work effectively in a team environment - Excellent written and oral communication skills with a positive and self-motivated attitude - Ability to lift and move objects over 50 pounds IND999
