DevOps Manager

Piper Companiesis looking for a DevOps Manager to join a growing infrastructure-focused team a hybrid position working onsite Tuesday - Thursday in Raleigh, NC . The ideal DevOps Manager will lead a team of engineers while bringing strong expertise in systems engineering, networking, and security while enhancing CI / CD pipelines. Responsibilities for the DevOps Manager : Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Drive infrastructure initiatives, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security across platforms. Collaborate with development teams to manage and enhance CI / CD pipelines. Maintain and optimize a hybrid Linux and Windows environment, with a strong emphasis on Kubernetes and Linux systems. Lead the deployment and maintenance of robust, scalable systems in cloud infrastructure Qualifications for the DevOps Manager : 8+ years of experience as a Systems Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or Infrastructure Engineer. Must be eligible to work in the United States and obtain and maintain an Active U.S. Government Secret Clearance. Proven experience managing and leading technical teams and balancing leadership with hands-on responsibilities (70% management / 30% technical). Strong background in Linux systems administration, Kubernetes, and CI / CD pipeline management. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field Compensation / Benefits for the DevOps Manager : Salary Range : $145,000 – $175,000 annually Comprehensive Benefits : Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO, Sick Leave (as required by law), and Paid Holidays This job opens for applications on 5 / 30 / 2025.
