Shipping Clerk - 2nd Shift
Consider joining the Pennex family as a Shipping Clerk - 2nd Shift in our Leetonia, OH location. The Shipping Clerk prepares shipping paperwork for trucks, stages metal for shipment, and loads/unloads small box trucks. This position is Monday to Friday 4pm to 12am. Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Prepares shipping Bills of Lading, Manifests, Tickets, and other related documents. Stages metal on the floor for upcoming shipments. Loads and unloads box truck with tow motor. Enters shipping information into customer-specific portals. Assists with maintaining accurate inventory data and participate in monthly/quarterly inventory counts. Maintains and updates data in various computer systems including, but not limited to, Microsoft Excel and Epics. Maintains a neat and orderly work area, including general housekeeping of the work area. Assists with general housekeeping of the Final Inspection area. Performs other duties as assigned. Ideal Candidate Will Have: Education High school diploma or equivalent Experience Mobile equipment experience required Other Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers. Ability to use measuring devices such as tape measures or rulers. Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Must possess a valid Forklift Operator's license and have prior forklift experience. Must be able to pass pre-employment physical and drug screen. Must be Eligible to work in the United States, visa sponsorships are not available. Regular attendance required. About Us
