Epic Application Analyst, Senior - Healthy Planet
Utilizes a combination of programming and analytical skills to formulate/define system scope and objectives for the Electronic Medical Record System which includes testing, validating, and implementing EMR screens used by clinicians performing and documenting patient care activities. Responsible for leading smaller internal projects and keeping track of team assignments as well as managing the workflow of clinics. In addition to the minimum requirement, the ideal candidate will be certified in Epic Healthy Planet (Specialty Pharmacy Certification Preferred). Responsibilities include: Coordination and performance of analysis, design, development, testing, validation, and implementation of EMR screens used by clinicians performing and documenting patient care activities leveraging system functionality to support clinical process and organizational goals. Understanding the use of clinical computer applications which assist in the management and processing of clinical information and delivery of health care services. Providing ongoing support of the EMR system and the end-users. Formulating and defining system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding to develop or modify moderately complex information systems. In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned. Position Compensation Range: $43.04 - $68.86 Hourly MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education: Bachelor's Degree Preferred Experience: 5 years relevant experience. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Licensure: None required PHYSICAL DEMANDS Job requires sitting for prolonged periods.
