We've an immediate opening for a Java Engineer iGaming! Candidates must be willing to travel on-site to complete onboarding orientation as dictated by the hiring team. Home Office: Jersey City, NJ What You Will Do
Architect, design, and build critical back-end systems, such as Lobby and Gaming Platform back end systems Design and develop the business logic and backend systems within the product domain to power our iGaming business Work with a modern technology stack (Java, AWS, PostGres, DynamoDB, Kafka) Contribute to and drive technical software development solutions through collaboration with the other engineers in the team to deliver market leading products Consider non-functional requirements at the heart of the platform solutions to deliver high-performance, fault tolerant software solutions to our 24/7 iGaming business Use your technical expertise to integrate our applications with all required systems and services and provide clean and easy to use API's Player / Coach other members of the engineering team in terms of craft and behaviors Work with cross functional technical and non-technical teams in an agile software development environment What You Will Need
10+ years of experience developing products for end users using Java 21, Spring Framework (Springboot specifically), Kubernetes Excellent communication and documentation skills Excellent understanding of microservice architecture and large scale distributed systems Experience working in the cloud, specifically Amazon Web Services (AWS) Experience with Kafka, DynamoDB and Postgres is a good to have Experience with OLTP systems is an asset Engineering experience in Building and maintaining APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) Expertise in Agile software product delivery and SCRUM The salary range for this position is $150,000 - $212,750 USD, which is dependent on several factors including relevant experience, geography, business needs and market demand. This role may offer the following benefits: medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k)-matching program; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses and stock program participation.
