Scrum Master
MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Scrum Master to join our team. This position is a hybrid role with 3 days a week on site. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (Daily Scrum, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospective) effectively and efficiently. Coach the Product Owner on maximizing value and refining the Product Backlog. Guide the organization in its adoption of Scrum, helping employees and stakeholders understand and enact empirical product development. Work with relevant stakeholders to resolve issues and mitigate risks. Promote transparency by ensuring clear communication of team progress, challenges, and metrics to all relevant stakeholders. Collaborate with HR business partners, IT, and other departments to ensure seamless integration and delivery of HR technology projects. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. 8+ years of experience as a Scrum Master for a software development team, preferably within an HR or enterprise systems context. Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM I) certification. Strong understanding of Agile principles and practices (Scrum) Experience with .NET development environments and software development lifecycle (SDLC). Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency with Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira). Preferred: Experience working in Human Resources (HR) or with HR-related systems. Additional Agile certifications (e.g., A-CSM, PSM II, SAFe Scrum Master). Technical background in .NET development or related technologies. Experience with change management and organizational transformation. Experience working with the Air Force or Space Force Clearance Requirements: US Citizen with ability to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance suitability Physical Requirements: Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%. Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer. The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
