Logistics Coordinator Salary:
$22-25/hour Job Description:
The Logistics Coordinator manages import processes and tracks international container shipments. This role collaborates closely with customs brokers and ensures timely delivery of imported materials. It supports the Purchasing and Sales teams by providing updates on shipment status and communicating delays or issues promptly. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate international shipments and import processes Communicate regularly with overseas suppliers Collaborate with customs brokers for timely clearance Track and monitor purchase orders and shipments Ensure timely delivery to meet deadlines Update teams on delays or issues Maintain accurate shipment records Manage HTSUS codes and landed cost drivers
Other Responsibilities: Cross-train with team members for coverage and development Use company systems, processes, and tools responsibly
Requirements:
At least 2 years of experience in logistics/international shipping Experience managing container imports, clearing shipments, scheduling drayage, and calculating landed costs Strong organizational and communication skills Familiarity with customs and international freight Proficiency with Microsoft Office and logistics tools High School diploma or equivalent Ability to learn the company's ERP system Effective internal and external communication skills
Preferred:
Bachelor's degree Experience in the fastener industry
