We are looking for a dedicated Desktop Support Analyst to join our team in Sonoma, California. This is a Contract-to-permanent position, ideal for someone who thrives in a mission-driven, non-profit environment. The Desktop Support Analyst will play a key role in supporting the IT needs of staff and students, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across departments. The role is onsite. Responsibilities
Provide technical support for staff and students, addressing hardware, software, and network issues promptly. Manage and maintain Active Directory accounts, ensuring proper access and security. Assist with setup and configuration of IT equipment, including laptops, desktops, and mobile devices. Support applications such as Outlook, Google Suite, Salesforce, and SharePoint, troubleshooting as needed. Collaborate with departments to address IT requirements in residential, educational, and clinical settings. Perform physical IT tasks like moving desks and setting up workstations. Act as the primary contact for IT inquiries, providing excellent customer service. Train staff and students on IT systems to promote user comfort. Assist with onboarding tasks like Livescan and TB testing. Contribute to implementing a ticketing system to streamline support. Requirements
Minimum 3 years of experience in desktop support or similar roles. Proficiency in Active Directory, including account management and security. Familiarity with Google Suite, Outlook, and common IT applications. Experience in school or healthcare environments is a plus but not required. Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software, including Apple and Dell devices. Basic knowledge of Salesforce and SharePoint; willingness to learn.
