Position is available 1 September 2025 Selected candidate will receive COLA/LQA in addition to their annual salary This position is 100% on-site The Contractor shall analyze requirements and design, code, test, debug, and document data pipelines. They should be capable of handling multiple data schemas to define a common data architecture supporting various use cases. Technical skills include programming, SQL database design, and NoSQL concepts. The role requires integrating complex models using advanced software libraries to distribute large, clustered data sets. Data engineers organize data for analytics, familiar with streaming and batch data models, and apply this knowledge to solve business and operational problems. Responsibilities: Develop, maintain, and test data infrastructure to transform data from various sources. Develop complex queries to optimize NoSQL and big data infrastructure performance. Create, document, and maintain data pipeline architecture. Create, document, and maintain APIs, integrating with existing APIs as needed. Maintain data dictionaries, database, and schema metadata. Build and support data movement infrastructure (ETL, ELT, ELTL) from diverse data sources. Extract data from SQL, NoSQL databases, and other APIs for ingestion and integration. Configure and manage data frameworks and pipelines using tools such as NoSQL, SQL, NiFi, Kafka, HDInsight, MongoDB, Cassandra, Neo4j, GraphDB, OrientDB, Spark, Flink, Hadoop, Hive, and others. Apply distributed systems concepts like consistency, availability, fault-tolerance, and consensus algorithms. Manage cloud computing and CI/CD pipelines on Azure, Google Cloud, and AWS. Coordinate with stakeholders to resolve data-related technical issues and support data infrastructure needs. Qualifications: Must hold and maintain an active Secret clearance. Must have a current Security+ certification. Must meet IAT Level II requirements. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
