$34.12/hr - $34.12/hr Duration: 12+ Months Job Description: Partially Onsite (Typical onsite Tues/Thurs, remote M,W,F) Standard Work Hours: 8:30-5:00 - Possibly some overtime, but not typical Team Name: BAD team (Business Analysis Department) Required Skills: PowerBI, Tableau, SQL, MS Access, MS Excel Day To Day: Excel, Access/SQL, Does not need to be proficient at writing SQL. Building queries visually in Access is sufficient. Nice To Have: Power BI/Power Query, Azure, Power Automate. This role will oversee our financial forecasting and budgeting processes, utilizing SQL, Excel, Power BI, and Azure to produce accurate inputs and manage our budget process. A typical day involves updating regular reports and providing new ad hoc reports using SQL and Excel, as well as creating and maintaining Power BI dashboards to visualize data and insights. This customer-facing role requires leading weekly meetings, providing comprehensive reporting, and guiding discussions to ensure smooth operations and resolve any issues. Additionally, this role will function as a consultant, offering guidance to customers on best practices for completing processes and managing work efficiently. Exceptional Communication Skills: As a coordinator for processes involving large groups, you will need to clearly explain tasks and coordinate effectively to ensure smooth operations. Process Analysis and Improvement: Focus on making processes more intuitive for users, with a focus on analyzing and improving people processes. Strong Business Acumen: Ability to see the bigger picture and understand the broader business context, stepping beyond just the data. Meticulous Attention to Detail: Ensure accuracy in information and reporting and correct any errors or mistakes. Outstanding Customer Service: Engage directly with customers daily, providing excellent service and collaborating with a diverse range of people. About The Team: Collaborative Environment: tight-knit team of 3 analysts within our small but impactful Client Management department of around 35 members. Responsibilities: Analyzes data for creation of statistical reports used for program or process evaluation. Responsible for maintaining databases and extracting data for analysis. Runs and reviews reports, analyzing results in support of operational functions. 40% Reviews, extracts and analyzes data to be used in formulation of procedures, processes and other requirements. Provides reports of relevant activity to be used to identify problematic areas and to provide a basis for modification and/or elimination of operations issues. 35% Assists with development of complex analysis and sophisticated data compilation, verification, and interpretations to guide divisional efforts. Performs focused analyses as needed. Creates data search programs to identify pertinent data needed to provide supporting documentation for system or operational enhancements/changes. 25% Documents reporting procedures so other staff can run ad hoc reports independently. Designs, codes, and maintains complex database programs for the extraction and analysis of data to support financial and operational decisions. Experience: 2 years of reporting and data analysis work experience OR 4 years reporting and data analysis experience. Skills: Strong organizational, customer service, communications, and analytical skills. Ability to use complex mathematical calculations. Advanced knowledge of mathematical and statistical concepts. Knowledge of relevant computer support systems. Knowledge of programming languages across various software platforms, using DB2, SQL, and/or relational databases. Ability to analyze data results, determine the source of aberrant statistics, and resolve data issues. Required Software and Tools: Microsoft Office. Knowledge of tools such as Visual Basic and Macros useful in automating reporting processes. Preferred Skills and Abilities: Computer programming skills. Negotiation or persuasion skills. Knowledge of ICD9/CPT4 coding. Preferred Software and Other Tools: SAS experience. Work Environment: Typical office environment. Some travel between buildings and out of town. Education: Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Business, Healthcare, or related field or 2 year degree in Computer Science, Business or related field and 2 years of reporting and data analysis work experience OR 4 years reporting and data analysis experience.
