The Financial Applications Analyst is a key resource within the Information Services Department for all financial systems across the organization. This role involves leading the design, build, testing, support, maintenance, and troubleshooting of assigned software applications and systems. The analyst acts as a liaison between customers, IS staff, the Business Office, and vendors for support issues. They work directly with various organizational levels on projects, committees, and teams to meet IT needs, often with minimal oversight. The primary responsibility is managing assigned financial applications. Responsibilities Plan and coordinate the design, build, installation, upgrade, updates, and end-user training for new and existing Information Systems to ensure appropriate technology and functionality. Prioritize, investigate, and troubleshoot issues related to financial system applications, interfaces, and data processing. Document issue status promptly and communicate effectively with support staff to develop solutions. Provide customer support by evaluating problems, collecting necessary information, and monitoring system performance. Assist in planning for new applications and provide system leadership for support calls. Ensure compliance with department and hospital guidelines for system operation. Contribute to the development of policies and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's in Computer Technology/IT preferred. Minimum 2 years of experience in Financial Healthcare Information Services. At least 1 year of experience building EMR systems.
