Job Summary:
Our client is seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to lead and provide technical support for large-scale commercial electrical projects. This role involves overseeing change-outs, retrofits, and installations of complex electrical and control systems for projects ranging from $100K to $3M. The superintendent will manage the day-to-day activities of a team of 10-15 mechanics, apprentices, and helpers, ensuring safety, budget adherence, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate work for electrical mechanics, apprentices, and helpers
Manage a team of 10-15 electricians
Provide guidance and demonstrate best practices
Perform or assist in electrical installations as needed
Prioritize safety and promote a safety-first culture
Teach and coach to prevent injuries
Collaborate with the Electrical Project Manager to discuss labor and material requirements and evaluate work progress
Ensure project completion meets schedule, budget, and quality standards
Qualifications:
Previous leadership experience as a Lead Electrician, Foreman, Supervisor, or Superintendent on commercial electrical projects
In-depth knowledge of commercial electrical and control systems
7+ years of experience (preferred)
Journeyman or Master's Electrical License (preferred)
Ability to interpret blueprint drawings and plans
Thorough knowledge of OSHA safety regulations
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and internet usage
High energy level for a dynamic workload
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
Clean driving record and ability to pass a drug screen and background check
