Responsibilities: Consultation - consult with clients on both a technical level of how to resolve issues as well as helping develop processes and content governance Testing and Planning - work with clients to determine the testing environment, requirements, and goals. You will test systems against a mixture of automated, specific manual tests, and assistive technology tools Reporting / Documentation - deliver results of accessibility audits and tests as well as participate in follow-up communication with clients Protocol Development - contribute to internal processes to improve our support process for customers and end users Remediation - utilize development and technical skills to actually go into code and documents in order to resolve accessibility barriers Educate - help foster knowledge and growth in both internal and external communities Requirements: 5+ years of accessibility driven work Strong knowledge of WCAG, WAI-ARIA, and ACT Good communication and teamwork skills Experience in using accessibility tools such as JAWS, NVDA, Voiceover, ZoomText, Dragon Naturally Speaking Experience in manual, functional and compatibility testing Strong organization and documentation skills Remediation experience for PDF and other document formats Experience with Accessibility Management Platforms Built or contributed to building accessibility testing tools IAAP Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies (CPACC) Web Accessibility Specialist (WAS) Certification Department of Homeland Security Section 508 Trusted Tester Certification v5 Americaneagle.com provides its employees with an energetic work environment and opportunities to further develop their skills. Within this range, individual pay is determined by job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
