We're looking for an experienced, attentive, and hospitality-driven
Food Runner
to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining the flow of service and ensuring that every guest receives their meal in a timely, accurate, and polished manner. Working closely with servers, chefs, and management, you'll be the bridge between the kitchen and the dining room, ensuring that food is delivered promptly and presented with care.
Deliver dishes from the kitchen to the guests with efficiency, grace, and clear communication. Describe food items with confidence, including preparation methods, key ingredients, and any specials or modifications. Maintain a constant awareness of table statuses, pacing, and guest needs throughout service. Support servers with clearing and resetting tables, refilling water, running side stations, and anticipating guest requests. Assist the kitchen with expediting and organizing plates during peak service hours. Ensure all food leaving the kitchen meets the restaurant's presentation and quality standards. Keep service areas, expediting stations, and the dining room organized and stocked. Communicate clearly and respectfully with both FOH and BOH teams to maintain a smooth rhythm of service. Other duties as assigned. Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in a fast-paced, high-end or fine dining setting. A sharp eye for detail and timing, with the ability to stay calm under pressure. Basic knowledge of food, wine, and restaurant service standards. Strong communication skills-both with guests and within the team. A genuine desire to create a welcoming, elevated experience for every guest. Familiarity with POS systems and standard restaurant tools. Ability to work collaboratively, respond to direction, and maintain composure in a dynamic environment. Professional appearance, punctuality, and high personal standards of hygiene and presentation. Must be of legal age to serve alcohol; high school diploma or equivalent required
