Production Planner - Aerospace Electronics / NetSuite ERP

We're looking for a hands-on Production Planner who thrives in technical environments and can take full ownership of our NetSuite ERP system and production planning function. This is more than just scheduling - you'll lead planning strategy, fix ERP workflows, and work directly with engineering, supply chain, and customers. As our new Production Planner, you'll help scale our shop floor planning while optimizing our ERP backbone (NetSuite). Your work ensures our parts are delivered on time, traceable, and compliant - all while improving flow and accuracy across the board.Job Description•Own the production schedule for electronic assemblies, legacy parts, cable assemblies, wire harnesses, and build-to-order components.•Lead NetSuite ERP implementation and usage improvement - from BOM audits to work order flow to inventory accuracy.•Partner with Engineering and Production to resolve ECOs and ensure AS9100/FAA-compliant documentation is reflected in planning.•Release and track work orders; monitor WIP and expedite where needed.•Analyze demand trends and forecast accuracy, drive inventory optimization.•Support capacity planning and participate in S&OP discussions.•Identify and address planning gaps using data, process mapping, and collaboration.Qualifications•U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (required) •5+ years in production planning or materials coordination in aerospace/electronics•4+ years using NetSuite or similar ERP for manufacturing planning, BOMs, and work orders•Strong understanding of MRP, routings, lead times, and vendor management•Familiarity with AS9100, FAA documentation, traceability, and part certifications•Comfortable working in a small, lean, high-impact team•Experience leading NetSuite rollouts, process training, or custom workflows•Strong Excel/reporting and forecasting skillsAdditional InformationTorrance, CA / Onsite Only-Contract to hire $73,000-$85,000 + Profit Sharing (2x/year) / Full Benefits / 401(k) Match / 9/80 Work ScheduleEEO StatementOur client is an equal employment opportunity (EEO) employer to all persons regardless of age, color national origin, citizenship status, physical or mental disability, race, religion, creed, gender, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and/or expression, genetic information, marital status, status with regard to public assistance, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local law.
