The Inventory Control Clerk conducts cycle counts, audits bin locations, researches and reconciles inventory discrepancies, and works with the Inventory Supervisor/Manager on inventory-related functions concerning materials, supplies, tools, equipment, and parts in stockroom, warehouse, or yard. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Performs physical counts of inventory items to maintain accuracy. Reconciles randomly chosen or specific part numbers and locations daily. Inputs inventory control data accurately to ensure integrity. Completes documentation thoroughly, accurately, and on time. Traces item history to resolve discrepancies and recommends remedial actions. Operates motorized equipment such as Order Picker, Sit-Down Forklift, Stand-Up Reach Truck. Performs other tasks as assigned by supervisor/manager. Additional Responsibilities: Reads and interprets safety rules, operating instructions, and manuals. Writes routine reports and correspondence. Ensures compliance with inventory processes, procedures, and contractual obligations. Physically counts articles or products on shelves, racks, and pallets. Uses computer terminals to manage inventory issues, returns, and documentation. Qualifications: 1-3 months related experience/training in Inventory Control. 1-3 months related experience/training in warehouse environment. Experience operating forklifts and cherry pickers/high lifts. Experience with WMS software (Synapse preferred) is a plus. Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Access Database. Education and/or Experience Required: High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Ability to read and interpret safety and operating manuals. Ability to read and write emails. Ability to physically count items on shelves, racks, and pallets.
